5 Strategies That Give Maximum Benefits #HP-EVOO - Blog # 112
Hi Everyone! Welcome back to another Friday blog. Today I want to give you 5 habits to build into your life that have a profoundly positive impact to your health, wellbeing, athletic performance, disease prevention and treatment, mental clarity and longevity - AND THEY ARE PRACTICALLY FREE! These 5 strategies are the foundation of health and counter every chronic disease process we now are fighting - obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, fatty liver, neurodegenerative diseases, chronic kidney disease, autoimmune disease, gastrointestinal dysfunctions and cancer - to name a few. Let's delve in.
1. SUNLIGHT
Why do we need sunlight? We harvest energy from 3 sources: the sun, grounding (earth) and food. We have forgotten about sunlight and grounding - thinking everything is about food. Underlying the entire metabolic system is a “control system” called the leptin-melanocortin pathway that is controlled by light. We essentially are electrical beings once living connected to the earth and under the light from our sun. We have put ourselves indoors – disconnected from the earth’s electromagnetic protection – away from sunlight and under artificial narrow-spectrum blue light that is destroying our physiology. Light from the sun at sunrise has the highest quality of red/blue/green - in harmony. Blue light sets the master clock – SCN (supra chiasmatic nucleus) that sets the rest of the clocks in the body. Think of this like timing on your car. Things need to engage in the right order. Timing is EVERYTHING. Green light tightens and stabilizes - to make the mitochondrial motor more efficient. What happens to the timing when every time you look at your phone screen the blue light tells your SCN it is midday noon? Could this be why we are not sleeping optimally?
Infrared light penetrates through our entire body “renovating” (changing the oxidation state) our heme proteins. One of these heme proteins is hemoglobin – whose job is to deliver oxygen to tissues. We have iron(Fe)-based blood. When our hemoglobin is in the Fe+3 state, oxygen is bound so tight it cannot be delivered to tissues. Sunlight changes the state of Fe to the Fe+2 state – and oxygen can now be delivered to tissues, including the mitochondria who use oxygen to turn our food into energy. In fact, if you don’t get morning sunlight and change the state of your Fe, you can’t use the TCA cycle (O2 to burn fuel) or the urea cycle (proteins) – you will ferment your glucose – causing low energy production and acidification of tissues, inefficiency of processing so you store more fat and can’t access fat-burning. Think of your phone switching to low power mode – literally shutting down systems to stay running. If you don’t get appropriate sunlight to your eyes and skin, your risk of cancer and ALL other chronic disease processes dramatically increases.
Red light excites the mitochondrial heme proteins (cytochromes I-V) to make energy. This is when biological water (DDW-deuterium-depleted water) is made that creates our biological battery. Mitochondria absorb the red light, then emit UV light to activate other proteins and hormones. One of the most important is Leptin. Mitochondria emit UV light that activates Leptin - triggered at 220nm. This is lower than what the sun can give us – 300-3,000 nm light due to the atmosphere. Many of the other hormones and proteins absorb light in the 200-400nm range. That means our mitochondria must MAKE THE LIGHT inside our body. Leptin is the body’s master hormone and lives in our subcutaneous fat (just under the skin). Leptin binds to its receptor in the brain (hypothalamus). Leptin controls appetite, fat mass, thermogenesis – we burn more fat at rest, fertility, fecundity and more. Why would God put Leptin just under the skin that absorbs light at 220nm when our sun can’t give this to us? We are meant to live in harmony with our earth and sun. This is the holy grail for fat and weight loss. Combined with the other strategies I’ve taught you through my other blogs; gives you optimal health outcomes.
As the sun rises higher UV light begins to come in. When we get that light in our eyes and skin, photoreceptors are stimulated, activating the production of a VERY IMPORTANT gene called POMC. This allows us to make melanin, endorphins (feel good hormones) and more – in fact 10 different very important biological molecules. This increases dopamine and serotonin and makes us feel good, happy and energized. Nitric oxide stores in the skin liberate dilating blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.
Our mitochondria then use the DDW they made using red/IR light to “hydrate” the melanin made using UV light as a battery to power the body. In the winter, getting adequate red light is crucial – we can then rely on our mitochondria to make the UV light for us. Within the inner mitochondrial membrane is a 30-million-volt charge (like a lightning bolt) that must not escape – to avoid microscopic electrocution of tissues – DDW and melanin are able to work together as an insulator to “downregulate” the charge to 1/trillionth of an ampere. That charge “happens” to be exactly what is required to turn a red blood cell into a stem cell to heal the body. This is the regenerative pathway that allows our bones to regenerate, rather than heal – no scar. Our liver has also retained the ability to regenerate, while elsewhere we heal by creating scar tissue.
Many things compromise the inner mitochondrial membrane – injections, toxic blue light, non-native EMFs (ex:5G), lack of sunlight, glyphosate, and dehydration to name a few. The damage is much like you’d see when lightning strikes the ground and creates a burn pattern of least resistance. The same thing happens inside the body – resulting in tissue destruction based on least resistance principles.
The red light received at sunrise is a natural sunscreen that “prepares” and protects your skin from the intense UV light that comes in strong around midday. UV light is NOT toxic to us like we have been told by the dermatologist community. Why would God put UV light detectors ALL OVER our eyes and skin if we were not intended to get UV light? They are there ON PURPOSE to prevent diseases. Never use sunscreen or sunglasses. Build your solar callus – and get bright light outdoors. UV light allows sulfation of cholesterol in the skin and production and sulfation of vitamin D. This is crucial to optimize your immune system and balance cholesterol. UV light stimulates the production of melanin. The more hydrated melanin you create, the more protected you are from radiation, EMF and microwaves – as melanin absorbs all frequencies of light – and the more protected you are from other environmental damage that could cause the 30-trillion-volt to leak out as the hydrated melanin insulates and absorbs that voltage protecting local tissues from damage. When this electricity leaks out, we feel this damage as pain and inflammation. We are bombarded now with 5G EMF radiation and high intensity blue light (not balanced with red). We have a military EMF weapon’s facility nearby in Waco and satellite 5G overhead from Elon Musk – in effect, a Chernobyl situation in our area. This is driving cancer and disease in a rapid way.
The sunlight we receive is different in different locations on earth – depending on latitude. The higher in latitude, the less intense the sunlight signal. Think of this as a GPS location barcode the sun is giving to our hemoglobin, skin, eyes and mitochondria. The sun gives this same barcode to plants growing in the area where you live. When you eat foods in season with the same barcode the sun is giving you, you are harmonizing the metabolic pathways that lead to optimal health. Eating out of season or from a different latitude causes metabolic chaos = inflammation – example: it is winter here, but you eat a ripe pineapple from Hawaii. These don’t match up. You would want to avoid the pineapple and opt for pumpkin, local root veggies, cabbage, broccoli, turnips and radishes, etc. that are growing at this time.
Did you know they are synthesizing huge melanin sheets on the international space station to harvest sunlight to power everything? It has the capacity to harvest huge amounts of energy from the sun. We concentrate melanin inside our body in strategic locations – the eyes through the central retinal pathway, the ears – in the cochlea, the nose – the olfactory, the brain – especially in the substantia nigra. When we lose melanin there, we get Parkinson’s. Sunlight activates POMC to create melanin!!! This is your power grid. The more you have, the more you are protected against literally ANYTHING.
We can improve vision, hearing, sense of smell/taste from exposing ourselves to sunlight and gradually building a solar callus. Never wear sunglasses or sunscreen. Red light is the antidote of blue light (such as indoor lighting, TV, computer and device screens). Did you know that just putting a cell phone to your ear raises blood sugar, insulin and triglycerides – NO FOOD REQUIRED. Blue light is undermining all our efforts. Children are more susceptible to blue light and non-native EMF because their brains and nervous systems are not fully myelinated until around 28yo. YOU MUST PROTECT THEM!!!
2. GROUNDING
Connect your bare feet to the earth. Humans have sweat glands on our palms and the bottom of our feet to allow us to make better electrical connection to the earth. The earth is a powerful magnet and gives us free electrons. We carry a net negative charge – when we are at optimal health, our charge is -400mV. When we lose our electric charge, we get sick. When we drop to -200mV we express disease – diabetes, cancer, etc. You can use a grounding sheet or mat, but ground it in the actual earth, not in an outlet. This is because with AC current, there are fluctuations and you can get some unwanted charge changes in the outlet that can actually do the opposite and harm you.
I like to habit stack – to knock out multiple strategies off my list at once. I have coffee while watching the sun rise barefoot on the wet grass while I meditate, do breathwork and make plans for the day with my face in the sun facing east. No sunglasses, no sunscreen ever. I have stopped wearing contacts to allow the light to enter my eyes. I get a bike ride (if not raining) later in the morning or afternoon to get plenty of UV light and build my solar callus. Exercising outdoors, rather than under blue light in the gym, gives you way more benefits to muscle function, blood flow and more. Then, take my dog for an evening walk about an hour before sunset to get the evening red light that simulates the sunrise – it is just not as intense as what you can receive in the am. The more you need to heal, the more light is required to make that happen.
3. COLD PLUNGE
We are born with our mother’s mitochondria. If your mitochondria hail from a northern region, they are the type that are “uncoupled.” They respond very well to cold exposure. This is one reason the Norwegian’s use sauna and cold plunge on the regular. Your mitochondria can produce UV light in response to cold plunges as well as sunlight! If your mitochondria come from the equator, they tend to be the “coupled” type and respond best to intense sunlight – you may need to move to a lower latitude in order to heal. Your LIGHT ENVIRONMENT sculpts your biology and the biology of your offspring.
4. EAT FISH/SEAFOOD
Instead of taking a supplement or fish oil, eat fish and seafood like oysters, shrimp, scallops to get the correct form of DHA. This is the sn-2 version – it is SO important that it is incorporated into ALL of our membranes and concentrated in the brain, retina and blood vessels. When you are taking fish oil, or algae forms, it is in the sn-1 and sn-3 positions that do NOT work in our membranes. In the sn-2 position, it looks and functions very much like a copper wire – significantly increasing the signal.
5. CONSUME HP-EVOO (high polyphenol extra virgin olive oil)
Polyphenols in EVOO enhance mitochondrial function. There are 30 known polyphenols in EVOO. Interestingly, the absorption range is ~ 230-400nm – [ex: oleuropein is in the UV-B range of 270-280nm and emission in UV-A from 300-370nm].
- Oleuropein enhances the cytochrome function of cytochrome c that activates apoptosis in cancer cells, mitochondrial biogenesis (new mitochondria), activates P450 enzymes that are involved in detoxification, activates the mitochondrial calcium uniporter upregulating mitochondrial function, balancing ROS and RNS redox (reactive oxygen/nitrogen species) controlling inflammation.
- Oleocanthal is another polyphenol that enhances mitochondrial function, acts dually as a COX2 and c-MET inhibitor – against lung cancer, breast cancer (and likely many others), countering inflammation on the level of ibuprofen, inhibits c-MET inducing apoptosis in malfunctioning mitochondria, suppressing the proliferation and migration of cancer cells.
- Hydroxytyrosol promotes oxidative phosphorylation (using O2 to burn food), mitochondrial biogenesis, enhances activity and expression of mitochondrial respiratory complexes (I-V) and increases O2 uptake as well as redox balance.
STRATEGY SUMMARY:
- See sunrise every morning to renovate heme proteins to make DDW
- Sleep in complete darkness – guard yourself after sundown from light.
- Build a solar callus and natural tan to build melanin and activate Leptin
- Use red light bulbs when you are using your computer, phone or watching TV to counter the blue light. You can also use them at night, but keep dim after sundown. Obey the dark.
- Use blue light blocking glasses when using computer or smart phone – or use screen protectors on those devices. Same for TV.
- Re-build your photoreceptors in eyes and skin - blue light destroys the photoreceptors in your skin and eyes – you can rebuild them by getting sun and avoiding exposure
- Avoid blue tooth air pod devices in your ears – EMF destroys melanin – tinnitus is your body trying to protect your brain from blue light.
- Create a workspace outdoors and get more ambient light exposure
- Open windows – to allow natural light to come in where you are working – or even when driving to allow that natural light to come in.
- Get bright sunlight daily to get maximum lux
- Ground as much as possible – 1hr+ to get those electrons. Work outdoor when possible – barefoot.
- Use sauna to activate heat shock proteins
- Cold plunge to optimize mitochondrial performance (50-55 deg) – this is the single fastest way to burn fat.
- Eat fish and Seafood (rather than taking fish oil) – DHA from eating fish is in the sn-2 position and is incorporated into our membranes to increase electrical potential. Other sources are in the sn-1 and sn-3 position and cannot perform the same. We have the most DHA in our retinal pathway and incorporated into myelin where it acts like a copper wire enhancing the speed of transmission along the nerve.
- Consume HP-EVOO - optimize mitochondrial function
- Exercise outside barefoot in the sun to optimize muscular function due to grounding effect and sunlight. The electromagnetic input is way different than when you are in a blue lit gym in athletic shoes.
- Get an IR device that can be used consistently in ears or nose to help heal faster and restore hydration of melanin – if you can find one with UV as well, you can build melanin sheets back and restore hearing, smelling and even reverse anxiety, depression, etc.
So, until next time my friends…Drink, Drizzle, Digest HP-EVOO at least 4 TBS raw daily, - use more for cooking and drizzling onto your food - eat the rainbow of LOCAL organic or wild-sourced veggies and fruits - eat according to what is growing at your latitude and location in season - eat wild-caught, pasture-raised, grass-fed - get early morning sunrise light, plenty of sunshine during the day, sleep in the dark, check your vitamin D3 level and supplement if needed: D3, K2, magnesium, zinc, and boron (- get your trace minerals and electrolytes with good sea salt - Celtic is hand-harvested and Himalayan was formed before plastics - eat foods high in lutein - drink plenty of filtered water. consume digestible and indigestible fiber for your gut microbes - adaptogens (such as mushrooms) and methylation donors (kale, beets, spinach, cruciferous, lion’s mane…), marjoram, rosemary, oregano, parsley and other herbs to detox, enhance overall health and reverse aging and disease - exercise your body and mind - ground barefoot to gain as many electrons as possible, add a few minutes of mindful meditation and breathing exercises to your day to combat stress - take a hot Epsom salt bath and follow with a cold shower/ice plunge - remove EMF (electromagnetic frequency) devices and blue light - use IR (infrared) from incandescent lighting, non-toxic candle or light a fire to enhance sleep and...turn off the light!! #HP-EVOO
