Sweet and refreshing, this infused balsamic vinegar is a vibrant flavor for sunny seasons. The watermelon adds body and depth to the balsamic, while keeping it sweeter in aroma and taste. The mint adds a refreshing brightness that lingers. Add the balsamic vinegar to sparkling water and cocktails like margaritas or mojitos to mellow out the sharpness of alcohol and make a harmonious cocktail. Drizzle over fruit sorbets, strawberry gelato or ice cream, or toss with a fresh fruit salad.
Pair with the Spicy Green Chili Oil for a refreshing green salad dressing, cucumber avocado salad, or marinade for shrimp or scallops, or pair with the Persian Lime, or Dill Infused Olive Oil and drizzle on white fish, chicken or grilled vegetables. It's the perfect addition to a spring pantry.
- Use for pickling by mixing 3 parts Watermelon Mint Rosé vinegar to 3 parts water to 1 part white wine vinegar. Simmer on low heat then pour over cauliflower florets, cucumbers, or green beans and refrigerate.
- Use in combination with fresh lemon juice to reduce the amount of sugar in your favorite homemade lemonade.
- Pair with Persian Lime olive oil to dress a watermelon - feta and grilled corn salad.
